A care home in Salford has launched an 'urgent' investigation after claims a visitor who unknowingly had coronavirus was allowed inside to see a friend.
The Fountains Care Centre say they are looking into how the male visitor was granted access to the home without being asked if he had completed a lateral flow test.
Early investigations appear to show that "one or more staff members did not follow the correct Covid procedure," care home bosses have told the M.E.N.
