A traffic PCSO spotted the suspect vehicle on Friday evening and checks revealed the Ford was a stolen vehicle with cloned plates.

The car was subsequently seized in order to undergo forensic examination. Greater Manchester Police Traffic wrote on Twitter early on Sunday morning: “#TrafficPCSO patrol was patrolling @GMPSalford in the Eccles area on Friday evening. “Located a vehicle that aroused his curiosity Checks revealed it was a stolen car on cloned plates. “Stolen from London in April & used in a robbery Recovered for forensic exam”.
