A bus service linking communities in Livingston with St John’s Hospital has been withdrawn due to a shortage of drivers.First Bus East announced the number 27 linking Livingston South Railway Station with Craigshill, Dedridge, Ladywell and the hospital will be suspended until further notice.The company made the announcement this morning on its Facebook page, adding: “We thank you for your patience and understanding while we overcome this short-term situation.”But the news was met with anger from locals, who said the changes came at short notice.One said: “Removing the only First Bus to go through Craigshill is disappointing.
