Britney Spears Confirms She's Writing a Book in New Instagram Post: 'It's Actually Healing & Therapeutic'

In a new Instagram post shared on Monday (April 4), the 40-year-old Glory pop superstar confirmed that she was working on a book about her life, calling the process “healing and therapeutic.” Click inside to read more… “It’s also hard bringing up past events in my life… I’ve never been able to express openly,” she noted. Britney went on to say she would be taking an “intellectual approach” to her address her life, like Justin [Timberlake] so respectfully did when he apologized to Janet [Jackson] and me.
He took the opportunity to apologize 20 years later!” She also called out her sister Jamie Lynn for mentioning her name “over 200 times” while promoting her own memoir Things I Should Have Said. “So sorry if I’ve offended anyone by writing these stories… I also have the right to share a couple of paragraphs,” Britney said, adding, “Let’s actually talk about it.” It was reported back in February that the “Till the World Ends” performer had signed a deal with Simon & Schuster for her tell-all memoir that will cover everything from her career, to her life and family.
