Britney Spears 'blown out' by Prince William resurfaced interview reveals

A recently resurfaced interview clip has shown that Britney Spears was once close to dating Prince William, as the pair even had plans to meet up.

The new Prince of Wales is mourning his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, following her death last week aged 96. William was joined by his wife, Kate, brother Prince Harry, and sister-in-law Meghan Markle as the four paid their respects outside Windsor Castle and greeted the crowds of well wishers.

However, in the resurfaced interview clip, it appears William was engaged in an online 'flirtationship' with pop superstar Britney before his relationship with the Princess of Wales.

The interview sees chart-topper Britney discuss how the pair shared a number of emails in a so-called "cyber romance" when they were teenagers, reports the Mirror.The Toxic singer, now 40, told talkshow host Frank Skinner in 2002 how she had been involved in a number of email exchanges with Wills and had even organised to meet him while she was on tour in the UK.
