A further six people in Dumfries and Galloway have lost their lives to the coronavirus pandemic in the past seven days.The latest figures from the health board show that 44 people have now died from Covid-19.As of May 11, 35 of the deaths were in hospital, with 79 people recovering from the coronavirus after being treated in hospital - up from 75 last week.The National Records of Scotland bases their stats on the number of cases where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
