Boy seriously hurt after falling from car park in Bury

Bury town centre. Emergency services were called to Clerke Street, near Mill Gate Shopping Centre, just before 9am on Thursday (September 10).

A 15-year-old boy reportedly fell from a building, believed to be a multi-story car park. He was taken to hospital with 'serious injuries', where he remains.

St Gabriel's Roman Catholic High School, where the teenager is believed to be a student, released a statement in the wake of the incident.Headteacher Lisa Corrigan wrote: “It is with sadness that I can confirm that one of our pupils is in hospital following an incident yesterday morning.“The news of this incident came as a tremendous shock to the whole school community and we are working together to ensure that appropriate support is made.
