Body of man found at Scots property as cops make arrest

An arrest has been made after a 57-year-old man was found dead within a Scots home this week. Emergency services raced to a property in Norwood Park, Bearsden, in the early hours of Thursday morning after they were made aware of concern for a man at the property.

When officers arrived the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He is expected to appeal at Dumbarton Sheriff Court tomorrow. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of concern for a man at a property at Norwood Park in Bearsden shortly after 3.55am on Thursday, 27 January.“Emergency services attended and a 57-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.“A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident."He is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, 31 January.” Don't miss the latest news from around Scotland and beyond - Sign up to our daily newsletter here.
