Bellway unveil plans for 58 houses on popular Ayrshire estate

Kilmarnock estate have been unveiled by housing bosses. Bellway want to construct a mix of terraced, detached and semi-detached homes on a parcel of unused land on the Moorfield estate.The site is between Dumfries Drive and the busy B7064 that leads on to the Moorfield roundabout and major routes such as the A71.But blueprints released by the housebuilder show that new homes would be built on a large playing field set up for football.The unused field has goal frames but has never been used for any formal sport but is used recreationally by residents.However, Bellway say they are "committed to the provision of alternative play areas within and around the site to compensate for the loss of the playing field".The statement continued: "The.
