Ian Bailey has hit out at the Netflix documentary on Sophie Toscan du Plantier comparing the streaming site to vultures ‘trying to feed off my carcass.’ The journalist who has long been associated with the brutal murder of the French filmmaker in west Cork in 1996—a crime that remains unsolved.
Ian, who maintains his innocence, has spoken of how he expects ‘to be demonised ‘ in the documentary. The much-anticipated series which is titled Sophie: A Murder in West Cork is due to land on Netflix this month and strives to give fresh insight into the tragic murder which has gripped the attention of a new generation around the world after being the focus of wildly popular podcast series.
