Parents look set to be inspired by TV smash hit Bridgerton and lockdown when choosing their baby names in 2022, according to a new survey.
This year saw a trend in names that inspired hope, after the coronavirus pandemic and new parents also drew inspiration from the most bingeable boxsets of the year, , including Tiger (Tiger King) and Connell (Normal People).
And the trend looks set to continue into 2022, with the baby name experts over at Nameberry predicting that next year mums and dads will, once again take inspiration from their favourite shows.According to their research, regal names like Jane and Elizabeth will be replaced by other iconic Bridgerton-inspired monikers such as Benedict, Cressida, Daphne, Eloise and Francesca.
