Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

For many people winning The Apprentice would be a dream come true, but it doesn't always work out well.The 2010 winner, Stella English, quit her £100k job with Lord Alan Sugar and claimed she was just an “overpaid lackey”.

Stella English won the 2010 series of The Apprentice, but her initial high of winning turned sour as she ended up unsuccessfully attempting to sue Lord Sugar.

When she applied for the show Stella already had a successful career as a trading manager for a Japanese bank. However, after spotting an advert for the programme, Stella told her bosses that she was resigning for her £85,000 job.

Stella already had a luxurious lifestyle, she drove a Porsche, bought £300 designer shoes, had three houses and regularly spent hundreds of pounds on champagne and meals out.
