Antiques Road Trip experienced a show first, as an item picked up for £60 sold for a whopping £20,000. Show host Paul was out browsing for collectables when he picked up a rare camera in an antique store in Margate, Kent.
After spending some time raking through all the old antiques, Paul took the camera to the front desk, eager to snap himself a bargain.He said to the owner: "In your cabinet over there, optical instrument… £75 on that I bid you £50.”The owner replied: "Give me £60 and I’ll shake your hand but I’m not doing any better than that, I’m afraid."The two men shook on it and the deal was sealed.Paul told the viewers a bit about the camera.
