Actress Amanda Peet made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen this week and she was asked what she really thought about the Game of Thrones finale.

This is a great question because Amanda is married to the HBO hit’s co-creator David Benioff. Amanda responded that she “loved it” and she stands by the controversial finale of the show. “I feel like some people didn’t want to say goodbye.

I don’t know,” she continued. “Look, maybe I’m just too close to it, but I didn’t understand the blowback. For God’s sake, people, it’s a television show.” If you don’t know, an alternate ending was actually filmed for Game of Thrones.
