Intu Properties, which has just two days to ensure its survival, refused to comment on the viability of the Braehead site, which employs more than 6,000 people across stores, restaurants and leisure outlets at Soar.The business has until Friday to convince its creditors to agree an 18-month standstill on debt repayments totalling £4.5billion.The agreement would give the business time to fix its balance sheet and generate income as shopping centres start to reopen south of the border.Failure to reach a deal would have catastrophic consequences for employees and the wider.
