Alison Hammond shows off swanky new kitchen after makeover

Alison Hammond recently gave fans a glimpse inside her stunning home, after having her kitchen completely transformed. This Morning host Alison, 47, shared a video on her Instagram Stories showing off her swanky new kitchen over at her home in Birmingham, where she lives with her 17-year-old son Aiden.

The star, who recently broke down in tears on This Morning while opening up about her battle with obesity, rarely posts snaps of her abode, but couldn't resist showing her one million followers her new kitchen.

Alison's video started with footage of the room prior to the makeover, with the star simply writing: "Kitchen makeover." Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter The back corner of the kitchen was visible, which was filled with wooden boards along with two spirit levels.

The space is painted light cream, and boasts sleek tiled flooring and a modern white lampshade. Alison's quirky dining chairs were also visible in the clip, which are made of dark blue velvet and feature silver studs around the edge.
