dailyrecord.co.uksupermarket shoppers engaged in a heated online debate about where ketchup should be stored. More than 400 people chimed in to have their say on the £1 cupboard essential found in every Aldi store.
The Manchester Evening News reported the debate started on the Aldi Shoppers UK Facebook group this week, where one social media user was 'asking for a friend' on whether tomato sauce should go in the fridge.
The first social media user commenting on the post wrote "If you think about where it was in the supermarket that’s where you store it," said, then adding: "Was it in a fridge or not, problem solved x." Others soon descended on the comments, with one angry Facebook user refuting "that's before it's opened though" and "in the supermarket it.
