Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Albian Ajeti has avoided a two-game SFA ban for diving after an appeal returned a not proven verdict. The Parkhead forward was retrospectively cited for simulation after going down to win a penalty in last week's win over Kilmarnock.Ajeti challenged for the ball with keeper Colin Doyle and hit the deck under pressure before Odsonne Edouard converted the spot-kick.Celtic were left "astonished" by the charge and Neil Lennon later confirmed they would contest it.

A Hampden hearing was originally scheduled for Monday before being pushed back 24 hours, and its outcome has put the 23-year-old in the clear.After examining the evidence the panel returned a not proven verdict, meaning the Swiss is free to face St Mirren and St Johnstone.
