A house in Higher Broughton was the most expensive home sold in Salford in March, new data has revealed. The semi-detached property on Cheltenham Crescent sold for £530,000 on March 3, according to latest information from the Land Registry.

The second most expensive home sold was a detached house on Granary Lane, Worsley, which went for £423,000 on March 2. The cheapest property sold in Salford in March was also in Worsley.

The flat on Ainsworth Court sold for £75,000 on March 6. In Salford, there were just 15 sales registered in March, a 75 per cent fall compared to the 61 sales registered at the same point in February.
