Baby names hailing from the time of Downton Abbey could become increasingly trendy, one 'name nerd' has claimed. If the predictions come to pass, there could be a resurgence of children called Cora and Raymond in the coming years.
One of a prospective parent's biggest decisions is what to name their child. Like anything popular, names come to epitomise an era, from Jessica and Michael in the 1980s to Emma and Noah in the 2010s.
According to one baby name whiz, titles hailing from the 19th century could be set to make a comeback. Reddit user @confidentialo on the namenerds forum has come forward with a list of 39 baby names from the 1880s "based on name trends we've been seeing".
In total, there are 22 names for girls and 17 for boys on the list - many of which would make for a beautiful and meaningful choice for expectant parents, reports the Mirror.
