Police were called to an alleyway just off Silver Street at around 5am on May 23. Officers say a 20-year-old man was left with a facial injury caused by a bottle.
An appeal for witnesses has since been launched. In a Facebook post, GMP Bury North said: “Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a 20-year-old man in an alley way just off Silver Street, Bury. “The incident was reported to have happened at around 5am on Sunday 23rd May 2021.
