Last week saw the release of the annual, the IMS Business report, which assesses the trends and total valuation of the global dance scene.The year's report found that while the dance scene was making financial gains in 2019, in the context of the pandemic clubs and festivals could lose roughly 75% of their income in 2020, equivalent to roughly $3.3 billion.On a lighter note, the Report also determined the most popular dance music subgenres, as determined by Beatport sales.
