Passengers flying into Manchester from Italy will now get the same treatment as those arriving from parts of South East Asia and the Middle East.
Although airlines including easyJet, Ryanair and BA have announced plans to cancel flights to Italy, there are still passengers arriving into Manchester from the country, which has become Europe's epicentre of the coronavirus oubreak.
While easyJet has already cancelled all flights to and from Italy until April 3, Ryanair will continue to fly the route until Friday, when it will suspend services until April 8.
Jet2 has now released a statement saying they have cancelled flights to Italy until April 26. However, the airline does appear to be operating arrivals into Manchester.
