direct to your inboxA practice in South Manchester has warned patients they will not 'operate as normal for many months' as staff are diverted to the mass vaccination programme.Barlow Medical Centre on Wilmslow Road have published a statement on their website stating that a 'significant number' of staff would be working 'round the clock' to get the vaccination programme up and running.

Citing soaring demand due to winter pressures and an 'exponential rise' in Covid cases, along with staff illness, shielding and self-isolating, the practice said the added responsibility of 'designing, implementing and staffing the vaccination programme' means the service will change 'for many months'.
