A microbrewery owner says income has been slashed by 90 percent because of coronavirus. Staff at Runaway Brewery usually create small batches from their site on Dantzic Street in the city centre and supply to bars and pubs across the country.

But the lockdown - which has left many in hospitality fighting for survival - means Runaway has just four trade customers left.

Co-founder and head brewe r Mark Welsby says they have been left with a cold store full of kegs they can’t sell and a backlog of unpaid invoices.

As such the business has had to furlough all four staff members and Mark is now running a small takeaway business single-handedly.
