Austin-based soul-psych duo Black Pumas have had a brilliant year behind their self-titled debut album, locking in a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, becoming almost ever-present on the late-night circuit, and landing in the sweet spot between soul-loving grown-ups and their vinyl-hoarding kids.
