Warnings that Bonhill defibrillator theft could cost someone their life

Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.The theft of a defibrillator from the Ladyton shops in Bonhill could cost a life it has been warned.Outraged Councillor Ian Dickson issued the warning, after the lifesaving equipment disappeared from its cabinet outside the Key Store on Monday.He told the Lennox: “It is appalling to learn that this vital piece of equipment has been taken away from our community.“If someone has a cardiac arrest early defibrillator access is a real lifesaver.“This theft is completely pointless and I would encourage whoever has taken it to return it before their action costs someone's life.”Funded by the Bonhill and Dalmonach Community Council, the equipment was installed.
