Batman is in for a dark night. Warner Bros. has temporarily suspended production of “The Batman” — the reboot which stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne — to try to prevent the spread of coronavirus, according to news outlets. “Warner Bros.
Pictures feature production of The Batman will be on a two-week hiatus starting today. The studio will continue to monitor the situation closely,” the company said in a statement, reported Deadline Friday.
Production of the superhero flick began in London in January, but was about to change locations to Liverpool, reported The Hollywood Reporter.
The studio also halted the filming of an Elvis Presley in Australia after star Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, tested positive for the disease, Deadline
