Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

Van Morrison has claimed governments are using Covid-19 restrictions to “enslave” the population in three new anti-lockdown protest songs.

The Belfast musician accused politicians of “taking our freedom” and claims that scientists are “making up crooked facts” as a way of controlling the public.

He makes these claims in three new songs, one of which is titled No More Lockdown. The song’s lyrics include the lines: “No more lockdown / No more government overreach / No more fascist bullies / Disturbing our peace “No more taking of our freedom / And our God given rights / Pretending it’s for our safety / When it’s really to enslave”.
