America is to broaden its European travel ban, adding the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland to its list. The original ban applied to non-Americans who have been in the 26 countries of the Schengen border-free travel area in Europe within 14 days of travelling to the US.Under the restrictions, American citizens, green card holders and others are still allowed to return home to the US - but will be funnelled to 13 airports and be subjected to health screenings and quarantine orders, according to reports.On Wednesday Trump announced the month-long restriction on travel from most of Europe, which began at midnight on Friday.US vice president Mike Pence has now confirmed the ban on travel will include the UK and Ireland.He said: "In our
