Trevor Peacock has sadly died at the age of 89, it has been confirmed. He was best known for playing Jim Trott in comedy series The Vicar of Dibley alongside Dawn French.The actor won the hearts of the nation thanks to his loveable character's "no, no, no" and "yes, yes, yes" catchphrases.
Trevor's agent confirmed the sad news of his passing in a statement on behalf of Trevor's family on Tuesday morning.The statement reads: "Trevor Peacock, actor, writer and song-writer, died aged 89 on the morning of March 8th from a dementia-related illness." Trevor started his career in theatres, where he landed roles in adaptations of fairytales including Cinderella and Jack and the Giant.
