Click inside to read more… He filed divorce documents on Thursday (March 30) obtained by the outlet, and says the marriage is irretrievably broken. Joe and Dillon have been estranged for about a year. Dillon called Joe in prison last March and told him he wanted to be out of the relationship, according to reports.

However, Joe‘s legal team says Dillon never followed through on a divorce. Dillon‘s already moved on with a new boyfriend, via TMZ. Joe and Dillon got married in December of 2017, two months after Joe‘s previous husband, Travis Maldonado, died after accidentally shooting himself. Joe says in the paperwork he’s in need of alimony in the form of a lump sum, and wants to change his name from Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage back to Joseph Allen Maldonado.

His attorney says Joe hopes they “can both move on with their lives and divorce quickly and amicably.” Find out what just happened with Joe Exotic‘s jail sentencing.
