Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Tiger King’s Joe Exotic in talks to host radio show from prison

Tiger King star Joe Exotic is apparently in talks to host a radio show from behind bars. After the Netflix series became one of the most talked-about shows in the world, it looks like Joe has finally gotten his chance for fame.

Despite being incarcerated for 22 years after being convicted in April 2019 of 17 accounts of animal abuse and conspiring to kill Carole Baskin.

Now a US broadcaster has reportedly been chatting to the former GW Exotic Animal Park owner about hosting his own show – from prison.

Joe’s husband Dillon Passage, who wed the former zookeeper in 2017, told Metro: ‘This radio station here in the US wants him to have his own radio show from inside the prison.’ ‘So we’ll see what happens with that.
