He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

THIS Morning's Phillip Schofield was open-mouthed in shock when a Spin To Win player answered - then told him to ring back later.

The 59-year-old presenter was stunned when Joe answered the phone for the competition and said: "Call me back in 2 minutes." Phillip explained that wasn't how the live competition - which involves the hosts calling a viewer for the chance to win cash prizes - works.

He fumed: "No. No, we can't. Joe? Is he joking? What the hell was that?" Then, when Phillip realised Joe had hung up, he said: "What are we supposed to do for two minutes?

It's network ITV, waiting for you." His co-star Holly Willoughby, 40 was in hysterics over the fact the caller - who stood to win £3,000 - had hung up.
