This is why you won’t see the Fair City cast social distancing in new episodes

evoke.ieWe’ve all been sitting around our houses trying to find anything to do or watch as we all practice social distancing. And as you tune into your favourite soaps, you might start to see your favourite characters social distancing over the next few months as they follow health guidelines.
However, for the next few weeks we won’t see any social distancing on Fair City and there’s a very valid reason why. While the soap has stopped filming during the health crisis, episodes have been limited to two per week but were filmed long before the Taoiseach told us to stay inside.
Filmed so far in advance in fact that the episodes were set to see this week will not be following the HSE guidelines currently put in place.
