A post-cocooning accident befell Eric Lalor’s mother Angela on her first venture back out into the world on Tuesday. Speaking to EVOKE ahead of hosting the Gigs from the Gaff fundraiser for Ireland Thanks You on Saturday, the comedian and Fair City actor explained what occurred. ‘My own parents are over 70 so they’ve been cocooning this whole time and then Tuesday was the first day that they could go for a walk.’ Happy Mothers Day to all the amazing mothers out there and especially to me own Ma.
Always there for us and this will be a strange day. We can't be there for her, at least not today, but when this all passes over, there should be a national hugging day.
