The Queen once reacted hilariously to her eldest son Prince Charles, 73, calling her “mummy” in one of his speeches. Prince Charles took to the stage at Saturday’s Party at the Palace to pay tribute to his 96 year old mother, and gushed over the Queen’s achievement over her last 70 years on the throne. "Your Majesty, Mummy,” he began, using a phrase he's often said in public.

Charles continued: "The scale of this evening’s celebration – and the outpouring of warmth and affection over this whole Jubilee weekend – is our way of saying thank you; from your family, the country, the Commonwealth, in fact, the whole world. "On behalf of us all, I wanted to pay my own tribute to your lifetime of selfless service. "Your family now spans four generations.
