THE Crown producer has addressed rumours the series could continue after season five without Netflix. In January, The Sun exclusively revealed how the hit show would come to an end after its fifth season, with Imelda Staunton taking on the role of Queen Elizabeth for its final outing.
However, the CEO of The Crown's production company Left Bank Pictures reiterated the fact that it owns the rights to the show - not Netflix - and so could, in theory, continue to season six and beyond.
Speaking at the Banff Media Festival in London, Andy Harries said it was a "very cheeky question" when asked if The Crown could find a new home in the future.
