Pasta and some branded items like Hovis bread were also included in the price test.The analysis found that Aldi came out on top, with a basket total of £78.50.Lidl wasn't too far behind, as its basket totalled £79.46 - just 94p more than Aldi.Waitrose's basket was most expensive, with a final total of £122.47, and Ocado wasn't far off with a basket price of £117.85.Here's the full price breakdown for supermarket prices in July:According to Which?: "Groceries with the biggest price differences included own-label prawns (where there was a £3.34 difference between Aldi and Waitrose) and own-label.
