It’s approaching the most wonderful time of the year and the nation’s kids are likely already planning their letters to Santa.

However, as they work hard to curate the perfect selection of dream gifts, new statistics suggest that over half could be left disappointed on Christmas morning.The amount of money parents are expected to spend has been revealed as far higher than you might feel your pockets can stretch.

Experts at Hasbro have discovered that the average child in the UK requests around £300 of presents which leads to more than 50% feeling dissatisfied.
