A teenage motorbiker was taken to hospital after being injured in a crash in Prestwich. The 19-year-old suffered injuries which police say are 'not deemed life-threatening or life-changing' after crashing with a van on Bury New Road on Tuesday night.

He's currently said to be in a stable condition in hospital. Bury New Road in the centre of Prestwich village was closed for a time following the smash near the junction with Fairfax Road.
