TalkTalk customers upset after planned price hike announced - how you can avoid it

prices for customers on some of its broadband plans this month. However, according to moneysavingexpert.com you don't have to accept the increase and could even haggle your way out of it.

Some customers have been left understandable upset after being told their bills will increase by £2.50 a month adding up to an extra £30 per year.

It only affects customers who signed up for a Fibre 35 or Fibre 65 broadband plan before 1 March 2021 but the experts are investigating after some said they signed for a 'fixed price' contract.TalkTalk says its fixed price plan terms and conditions do allow for price rises with the right to leave within 30 days but some still say they were advertised wrong.One person tweeted TalkTalk and said: "Not exactly.
