At the Oscars 2020, Bong Joon-ho's ambitious drama thriller, Parasite, managed to make history as the first non-English movie to be bestowed with the Best Picture Academy Award. However, that was not all! Parasite also took home the Best Director Oscar for Joon-ho, Best Original Screenplay for Joon-ho and Han Jin-won and Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards. One of the primary reasons why BTS is loved by millions and millions of ARMY members is because of their undying bond and friendship, which has developed over the years! Moreover, on many occasions, the members have revealed that they have become more than just bandmates; like a trueblood family. However, the Bangtan Boys have also maintained friendships with others from the Korean entertainment industry with V, in particular, being a part of the Wooga Squad - Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik, Park Hyung-sik, Kwon Sunghwan aka Peakboy and Taehyung.

We're all stationed at home, practicing quarantine, to stay away from the coronavirus pandemic. Many of us have been taking to OTT platforms to get our source of entertainment, which is mostly to help us distract from the harsh reality, that the entire globe is witnessing collectively! While English shows have always been the norm, K-dramas is soon gaining immense credence on a global scale with many taking notice of the talented artists present in Korea. It has been a fairly good year for K-Drama. After we were treated to Crash Landing On You and Itaewon Class, fans of South Korean drama shows will be presented The King: Eternal Monarch. The show starts this weekend. The SBS show is extra special for it sees Lee Min Ho return to acting after his military service. Legends of the Blue Sea actor stars opposite Kim Go Eun on the show. BTS is currently laying low, given the coronavirus outbreak, that has not just taken over South Korea but the entire world. After delivering a classic album like Map of the Soul: 7, to kickstart 2020 with a bang, ARMY was crushed to know that the Map of the Soul Tour was now in jeopardy, especially with the four scheduled concerts in Korea already cancelled. However, hope came from V, when the singer released one of the three recently composed song by himself in March 2020.

Most of us are currently cooped up in the confines of our home trying to take the right preventive measures amidst the coronavirus scare. However, after a few days a self-isolation, we're bound to go a bit crazy with so much social distancing! Something that we're not used to! From spreading awareness on self-isolation to even having live concerts vis Instagram, celebs are doing their part in keeping everyone entertained.

March 2020 was a special time for BTS member V as he was able to share with the world, one of three songs he recently composed. Titled Sweet Night, the solo track by Taehyung was a part of popular K-drama Itaewon Class OST. In what was of the indie-pop genre along with the right acoustic flavours, V sang about melancholy in the sweetest vocals one could register! Sweet Night instantly became a hit and topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 77 countries including the US and the UK.

If heaven had a jukebox, we would want Taehyung's Sweet Night to play in the background. It was previously confirmed that BTS singer V has worked on a song for his good friend Park Seo Joon's show Itaewon Class OST. Despite being busy with BTS' new album Map of the Soul: 7, Taehyung took time out to record a song for the show. The song has been titled Sweet Night and has finally found its way online and it ignites all kinds of emotions. 

A while back, reports suggested that BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung is all set to collaborate with popular K-drama Itaewon Class for its OST. Earlier, while making his acting debut with the 2016 drama Hwarang, V and Jin sang for the OST, in a track titled It's Definitely You. This time, it will be Kim's first solo track for a K-drama! Earlier, in a V Live session with RM, V had also confirmed the news that he was indeed contributing to Itaewon Class' OST along with writing two other tracks.

BTS has taken over South Korea by taking part in the music shows, where their title song for Map of the Soul: 7, titled ON is dominating with five impressive wins already. The septet will soon be embarking on a world tour, amidst cancelling concerts in Korea due to the Coronavirus outbreak, with the country being one of the most affected. In between Map of the Soul: 7, the members will also be focused on their solo projects with V already working on a song for a K-drama.
