Suspected bomb to be blown up near Scots airport as locals told to stay two miles away

The device will be exploded at around 1pm and cops have urged locals to stay at least two miles away. It was found on Thursday with the nearby roads still closed.A statement from police reads: "At 1pm today, Saturday, August 15, partners from the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team will be carrying out a controlled explosion following a potential ordinance found near Scatsta Airfield on the B9079 in Shetland."There is no risk to the wider public, however officers would ask that people please avoid the immediate area, around two miles, while this takes place."A cordon which was put in place when initial reports.
