Radio Times and other media that if a contestant contracts the virus during the competition, they will be instantly removed from the show.She said: ‘Unfortunately if you receive a positive test, that means you wouldn’t be able to continue in the competition.’‘Obviously with government guidelines, if you receive a positive test you have to isolate for two weeks and that would, unfortunately, rule them out of the show.’Celebrities and their professional partners will be isolating together, while contact with other couples is to be minimised, meaning if one person or couple tests positive, it is hoped that the rest can continue on in the competition.Other measures which have been put in place will see a smaller number of contestants, and fewer.
