Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Strictly Come Prancing dance event to take place in Renfrewshire venue in aid of hospice

A major householder has announced a sponsorship of a glitzy Strictly Come Prancing event being hosted by a Renfrewshire hospice.As part of its ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities, the staff and charities committee at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has announced that it is the main sponsor of this year’s Strictly Come Prancing event being held at Ingliston Country Club in Bishopton.This year’s event will take place on Friday, September 16, from 7pm with all proceeds going to St Vincent’s Hospice in Howwood.
