The 2022 Super Bowl is set to kick off in just a few hours on NBC and the full lineup of performers and celebrity guests has been revealed.

Fans noticed something this week and it has to do with Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers.

When Starz's Vida debuted in the spring of 2018, it was, even in the era of Peak TV, a series patently like no other. Centered on two estranged sisters returning to the home and the bar they grew up in after the death of their difficult mother, the half-hour drama was one of a handful of shows about Latinx characters and might well be the first series ever to feature a queer Latina lead.

Melissa Barrera's mission in life is to entertain.

Starz's Vida, from creator Tanya Saracho, is set to premiere its third and final season on April 26. But just because the end might be in sight, that's no reason not to watch this heartfelt half-hour drama that is unrivaled in its authentic portrayal of grief, intimacy, and queerness in the Latinx community. If anything, it should add an urgency to catching up so you can experience Vida's final season with its family of fans. Because that's what Vida is about: family, in all of its complicated variations, and who can't relate to that?
