South Lanarkshire Council scheme gets in gear to make kids cycle-smart

iOS - Android “We are delighted that we now have a bank of bikes which can be booked in advance by schools across all the whole of South Lanarkshire, thanks to Cycling Scotland in partnership with Healthy n Happy Bike Town.“These bikes will be a useful aid to allow schools to forward plan Bikeability cycle training activities and address any individual needs at a local school level.“We believe these are skills which our pupils will be able to use for the rest of their lives and are a key factor in building confidence and good road sense, getting young people out there and enjoying the many benefits of cycling.”Bikeability Scotland is the national cycle training programme for school children to assist them to develop this essential life.
