Slavia Prague chief claims Rangers pushed for Europa League axe as Czechs make another incendiary claim

Europa League. The Czech club's president Jaroslav Tvrdik has reignited tensions between the clubs after shamed Slavia defender Ondrej Kudela was slapped with a 10-game ban after being found guilty of racially abusing Glen Kamara.

Kudela has appealed the suspension but Tvrdik admits his club are now the most reviled in the UK following the last 16 clash at Ibrox in March.

He insists the fall-out from the case has had a huge impact on Slavia 's reputation and, in a latest barb at the Ibrox club, alleges Rangers tried to have them removed from the tournament.

Tvrdik said: "If we give UEFA another excuse to look at us by displaying banners against the decision, or God forbid another racist banner, it will not turn out well at all.
