Site of former High Street giant in Ayr is earmarked for new retail development

Plans are in place to lease out the former Watt Brothers site on Ayr High Street.The two-storey building closed in October 2019 with the loss of 18 jobs as the long-standing firm plunged into administration.

A further 20 jobs were also lost at the Watt Brothers store in Irvine when it shut in 2019.
